Day 2 » Havana City tours

Morning

09:00 hrs - Morning Walking Tour of Old Havana, visiting the main streets and squares of the Historical Centre.

Noon

12:30 hrs - A-la-carte lunch at the nice local restaurant Doña Eutimia, on the Cathedral square. (2 drinks included).

Afternoon

14.30 hrs - A specialized tour of “Modern Havana” for 2 hours.
Visit to Miramar and Vedado neighborhoods.
Stop over at The National hotel and the Revolution square.

Evening

20:30 hrs - Traditional Cuban music concert and dinner in Café - Taberna Benny More.

Day 3 » Pinar Del Rio - Viñales

Morning

08:30 hrs - Departure for Viñales and Pinar del Rio (2-hour drive)

  • Visit to the Cigar Factory Francisco Donatien in Pinar Del Rio City
  • Stop for photos at the lookout Los Jazmines over the beautiful Valley of Viñales
  • Visit the Village of Viñales, a tobacco plantation and the Mural of Prehistory hill painting.

Visit to the Indian cave.
Return to Havana.

Day 5 » Departure to Trinidad city, via Cienfuegos

Morning
  • Departure for the colonial city of Trinidad, visiting the city of Cienfuegos en-route.
    Cienfuegos, known as the Pearl of the South, was founded by French settlers from Louisiana in 1819 and is located on a beautiful bay on the southern coast of Cuba, some 250 km east of Havana. One of the chief seaports of Cuba, it is a centre for the sugar trade and is surrounded by one of the most picturesque and fertile regions in the country.
  • Take a tour of Cienfuegos, including the city neoclassical center. (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
  • Visit Palacio Valle, an architectural jewel.
Noon

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Late afternoon

Continue to Trinidad City. 1-hour drive.

Accommodation at an All-Inclusive 4* hotel on Ancon beach for 2 nights.

Day 6 » Trinidad

Morning

9.00 hrs - Trinidad city tour, visiting local craft market.

Trinidad was founded in 1518 by Diego Velazquez as a base for expeditions into the New World, and it was from here that Hernan Cortes set out to conquer Mexico. The city became rich due to sugar exportation, however after the sugar price crashed in the 19th century many wealthy families left, and the town fell in to decline. The city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an excellent example of the early days of the Spanish colonization, with preserved buildings, cobbled streets and hardly a trace of modern architecture. The centre is only accessible by foot, which makes it a great city to walk around.

Return to the Hotel for lunch.

20.30 hrs - Departure to enjoy Trinidad at night and its musical venues.

Day 7 » Departure to Varadero via Santa Clara city

Morning

8.00 hrs – Check out and departure for Varadero beach.
On the way, visit the Sugar Mills valley of San Luis, outside Trinidad.
11:00 hrs - Stop at Che Guevara`s mausoleum in Santa Clara.
Continue to Varadero Beach (2-hour drive).
Accommodation at 4 * All Inclusive hotel.
